What and Where is Fanshawe TV?
Fanshawe TV is YOUR campus television and media website, run by students, watched by all.
Fanshawe TV broadcasts LIVE 24/7 out of Fanshawe College’s Broadcast Center,which is the country’s premier broadcasting educational center and the heart of M-Building. Located on the first floor of M-building, the Broadcast Center encompasses both the radio and the Television and Film facilities.
Fanshawe TV is YOUR campus station. The students in the Broadcasting – Television program are learning in a real work environment how to write, produce, shoot and edit productions. They learn and work at one of the largest television studios in Ontario, producing programming daily for Fanshawe TV via our closed-circuit station which includes up to the minute news, information, entertainment, sports, commercials and promos.

About the Television Broadcasting Program at Fanshawe
Fanshawe’s Broadcasting – Television program takes you behind the scenes of television production. You’ll get hands-on experience working at one of the largest television studios in Ontario, producing programming for Fanshawe TV, our closed-circuit television station broadcasting news, information, entertainment, commercials and promos. Everything is produced entirely by students at Fanshawe’s Broadcast Centre – Canada’s premiere broadcasting educational facility that you really need to see to believe.
You will be able to write, produce, shoot or edit productions and have them aired throughout the region. you’ll get top notch instruction from TV industry professionals and field placements within the industry. The real magic happens behind the scenes. Let the Television program take you there.
The Broadcasting – Television program will prepare highly motivated and disciplined graduates for employment in technical operations, and/or production fields within the television broadcast media industry. The teaching emphasizes “hands-on” practical experience in a simulated working environment through Fanshawe TV student-operated, closed-circuit television station and website (fanshawetv.ca).
All production programming aired on Fanshawe TV is created by students including news, information, entertainment, commercials and promos.
Program content includes: studio and field Production, technical operations, broadcast station operations, editing, graphics, copywriting (promos and commercials), scriptwriting and sales and marketing for television.
